Usage of Sacrifice Anodes
Easiest and safest way to protect our yacht’s valued metal equipment is;
consistently using sacrifice anodes.
Sacrifice anodes can be composed from aluminium, zinc or magnesium. These anodes should be placed close to the yatch’s high valued metal equipments. These anodes take on all electrostatic load and sacrifice themselves in order to protect high valued metal equipments from corrosion.
Change and renew sacrifice anodes once per a year is highly adviced. Thanks to frequently sacrifice anode usage, we don’t have to worry about healthy of our yatch’s high valued metal equipments.
